Commandment 1
Marriages are made in heaven. But so are thunder and lightning.
Commandment 2
If you want your wife to listen and pay strict attention to every word you say; talk in your sleep.
Commandment 3
Marriage is grand — and divorce is at least 100 grand!
Commandment 4
Married life is very frustrating. In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.
Commandment 5
When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing: Either the car is new or the wife is.
Commandment 6
Marriage is when a man and woman become as one. The trouble starts when they try to decide which one.
Commandment 7
Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you say. After marriage, he will fall asleep before you finish.
Commandment 8
Every man wants a wife who is beautiful, understanding, economical, and a good cook. But the law allows only one wife.
Commandment 9
Marriage and love are purely matter of chemistry. That is why wives treat husbands like toxic waste.
Commandment 10
A man is incomplete until he is married. After that, he is finished.

When I was your age.....
If you are 36, or older, you might think this is hilarious!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious
diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with
walking twenty-five miles to school every morning....Uphill...
Barefoot...BOTH ways... yadda, yadda, yadda
And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way I was
going to lay a bunch of stuff like that on my kids about how hard I had it
and how easy they've got it!
But now that I'm over the ripe old age of forty, I can't help but look
around and notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy! I mean,
compared to my childhood, you live in a Utopia!
And I hate to say it, but you kids today, you don't know how good you've got
it!
1) I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have the Internet. If we wanted to
know something, we had to go to the library and look it up ourselves, in the
card catalog!!
2) There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter - with a
pen!
Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the
mailbox, and it would take like a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!
3) Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As a
matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick
our butts! Nowhere was safe!
4) There were no MP3's or Napsters or iTunes! If you wanted to steal music,
you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it yourself!
5) Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio, and the DJ
would usually talk over the beginning and mess it all up! There were no CD
players! We had tape decks in our car. We'd play our favorite tape and
"eject" it when finished, and then the tape would come undone rendering it
useless. Cause, hey, that's how we rolled, Baby! Dig?
6) We didn't have fancy stuff like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone
and somebody else called, they got a busy signal, that's it!
7) There weren't any cell phones either. If you left the house, you just
didn't make a call or receive one. You actually had to be out of touch with
your "friends." OH MY GOSH!!! Think of the horror... not being in touch
with someone 24/7!!! And then there's TEXTING. Yeah, right. Please! You
kids have no idea how annoying you are.
8) And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had
no idea who it was! It could be your school, your parents, your boss, your
bookie, your drug dealer, the collection agent... you just didn't know!!!
You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!
9) We didn't have any fancy PlayStation or Xbox video games with
high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like Space
Invaders and Asteroids.
Your screen guy was a little square! You actually had to use your
imagination!!!
And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen,
Forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and
harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!
10) You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on!
You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your
butt and walk over to the TV to change the channel!!! NO REMOTES!!! Oh,
no, what's the world coming to?!?!
11) There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on
Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying? We had to wait ALL WEEK for
cartoons, you spoiled little brats!
12) And we didn't have microwaves. If we wanted to heat something up, we
had to use the stove! Imagine that!
13) And our parents told us to stay outside and play... all day long. Oh
no! no electronics to soothe and comfort. And if you came back inside...
you were doing chores!
And car seats - oh, please! Mom threw you in the back seat and you hung on.
If you were lucky, you got the "safety arm" across the chest at the last
moment if she had to stop suddenly, and if your head hit the dashboard, well
that was your fault for calling "shot gun" in the first place!
See! That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids today have got it too
easy.
You're spoiled rotten! You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in
1970 or any time before!

10 things to learn from Japan
1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.
2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.
3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.
4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.
5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.
6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?
7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.
8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.
9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.
10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly!

Never forget to say " I LOVE YOU
My mom only had one eye. I hated her........ She was such an embarrassment. .
She cooked for students & teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to
Say hello to me.
I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me?
I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.
The next day at school one of my classmates said, 'EEEE, your mom only
Has one eye!'
I wanted to bury myself..
I also wanted my mom to just disappear..
I confronted her that day and said, ' If you're only gonna make me a
Laughing stock, why don't you just die?'
My mom did not respond.....
I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because
I was full of anger.
I was oblivious to her feelings.
I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her..
So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.
Then, I got married.
I bought a house of my own.
I had kids of my own.
I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts, Then one day, my
Mother came to visit me.
She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even meet her
Grandchildren.
When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at
Her for coming over uninvited.
I screamed at her, 'How dare you come to my house and scare my
Children!'
GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!'
And to this, my mother quietly answered, 'Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have
Gotten the wrong address,'
And she disappeared out of sight.
One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house.
So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip.
After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity.
My neighbors said that she died.
I did not shed a single tear.
They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.
'My dearest son,
I think of you all the time. I'm sorry that I came to your house and
Scared your children.
I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion.
But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you.
I'm sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were
Growing up.
You see........when you were very little, you got into an accident, and
Lost your eye.
As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you
Having to grow up with one eye.
So I gave you mine.
I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my
Place, with that eye..
With all my love to you,
Your mother.
Send this to at least 10 people in the next 5 minutes to show you love your mother.
If you don't then it shows you have no heart
Always tell someone that you love them because you never know what day
Will be their last, or your own.
Always seek to resolve your problems or disagreements with loved ones
Because if either of you should pass on before, the one who is left alive will have the rest of their life to ponder those unresolved feelings but will never find closure. And closure usually brings peace.

6 PRINCIPLES OF LIFE
No point using limited life to chase unlimited money
No point earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.
Money is not yours until you spend it.
When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth; when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.
How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how little he needs.
No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with
Remember this -- We come to this world with nothing, we leave this world with nothing!

The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her.
The Boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home.

Why Women Cry
>Why Women Cry
>Watch her eyes
>A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman , "
>she told him.
>"I don't understand , " he said. His Mom just hugged him and said , "And you
>never will."
>Later the little boy asked his father , "Why does mother seem to cry for no
>reason?"
>"All women cry for no reason , " was all his dad could say.
>The little boy grew up and became a man , still wondering why women cry..
>Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone , he asked , "God ,
>why do women cry so easily?"
>God said
>"When I made the woman she had to be special.
>I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle
>enough to give comfort.
>I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many
>times comes from her children.
>I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up
>, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
>I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances
>, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
>I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her
>from his rib to protect his heart.
>I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife , but
>sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
>And finally , I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use
>whenever it is needed."
>"You see my son , " said God , "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she
>wears , the figure that she carries , or the way she combs her hair.
>The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes , because that is the doorway to

Shakes out her rain drenched hair,

When rain bends down the bough.
And I shall be more silent and cold hearted
Than you are now.

Eleven Hints for Life
1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.
3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.
5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.
6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.
7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.
8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.
9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.
10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.
11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

Guide To A Better Life

USED vs. LOVED
While a man was polishing his new car,
his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.
In anger, the man took the child ' s hand
and hit it many times not realizing
he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers
due to multiple fractures .
When the child saw his father.....
with painful eyes he asked, ' Dad when will my fingers grow back? '
The man was so hurt and speechless;
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions......
sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;
the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD '.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .
Anger and Love have no limits;
choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely
life & remember this:
Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
The problem in today ' s world is
that people are used while things are loved.
